Sandwich ELISA
Microtiter wells were coated with 4C3 at 3 µg/mL as the capture antibody. Human IgE was used as the antigen. Peroxidase conjugated mouse anti-human IgE monoclonal antibody (1A2) was used as the detection antibody.
Result: 4C3 and 1A2 can be used as a matched antibody pair to detect and quantify the concentration of human IgE.

Cross reactivity
Microtiter wells were coated with human immunoglobulins with various isotypes. 4C3 was used as the primary antibody and peroxidase conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG was used as the secondary antibody.
Result: 4C3 does not cross-react with human IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, IgG4, IgA and IgM.
